Holland America Line is relaunching behind-the-scenes ship tours to coincide with a new Channel 4 documentary starring its fleet.
The tours will be available on all of its ships by the end of July, with an accessible option available.
Key locations such as the ship’s navigation bridge, galley, engine control room, recycling centre, World Stage dressing rooms, marshalling areas, storerooms, bakery and bars will be included in the tours, with crew members at each stage.
The tours will cost $179 per person and will be bookable on board at guest services.
Passengers will receive a unique ship-specific lanyard, souvenir photo collection and commemorative certificate.
The eight-part Channel 4’s Supercruising: Life at Sea will air every Thursday at 8pm until August 21.
Holland America Line’s vice-president of onboard revenue Carole Biencourt said: “We hear so often from guests who’d love to see the bridge or where our chefs prepare their meals.
“By bringing back this tour experience we’re pulling back the curtain to these areas that are rarely visited.
“We’re giving guests a rare opportunity to see what makes our operation so unique.”
