If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that getting comfortable whilst travelling long haul is an almost impossible task. A neck pillow can bring you some comfort when you’re trying to sleep on a train or plane, but they tend to take up a lot of space in your hand luggage, or become an annoying extra thing to carry around the airport.
However H&M has just launched what might be this summer’s must-have travel staple, with its Inflatable Neck Pillow Hoodie which is priced at £44.99. Although it technically falls under the menswear category from the Solar Club X H&M Move collaboration, the images show it’s a unisex item that makes it ideal for all travellers.

The hoodie itself is oversized for a comfortable, cosy fit which we all know is essential when travelling – no one wants to be stuck in tight, body-hugging clothes on a long haul flight. It’s made from a soft cotton with a brushed inside that keeps it cosy, breathable and lightweight.
And as well as having all the key features of a standard hoodie, like a kangaroo pocket and a double-layered drawstring hood, the Inflatable Neck Pillow Hoodie also has one very clever hidden detail.
Tucked away inside the neck is a removable, inflatable travel neck pillow that supports your head and neck while wearing it. You can remove it via the zip at the back of the hood if you want your Inflatable Neck Pillow Hoodie to just be a regular hoodie, or you can blow it up via the hidden nozzle inside the neckline.
It fits comfortably around your neck to offer plenty of support so you can sleep or relax on a plane or train, and it even helps offer support for things like meditation so you can fully relax. It’s available in sizes XS to XXL, and has a simple neutral grey colourway with a subtle constellation-inspired pattern on the back.
