“The material is ready to go, and people are already booking on!

The tours were a hit when they first ran from 2017 to 2018 (Image: Supplied)
The tours ran between 2017 and 2018 and are still the best-rated bar, club and pub tour experience on Tripadvisor, seven years after the business stopped.
Mr Woodbridge explained that it was a change of circumstances that saw the trips come to an end, with people continuing to ask in the following years about booking.
“The appetite for them is still here,” he said.
“It felt like a no-brainer for us – enquiries have been coming in for years despite them ending a long time ago.”
The tours remain in the top spot on Tripadvisor (Image: Supplied) Some of the pubs involved in the tour include the award-winning Adam and Eve and The Murderers, with guides showing tour groups around the city streets in two or four-hour time slots.
Mr Woodbridge added: “The guides we use will either be the founder, James, or a stand-up comedian.

“They’re funny, they’re personable – we want these tours to feel like you’re going to the pub with your mates.
“We want to avoid people standing around listening to someone in the street.
James Copeland, the founder, will run many of the tours himself (Image: Supplied) “You’ll hear tales in a tavern from someone who lives and breathes the city’s history.”
