TTC Tour Brands has unveiled a set of improvements to its groups programme in a bid to support travel agents.

The changes, which apply across Scheduled Groups, Custom Groups, Small Groups and Trafalgar River Cruises, will be explained in training webinars and also outlined on TTC Tour Brands’ travel agent portal.

A key part of the improvements is delivering a faster, more transparent booking experience, the company said, with agents now set to benefit from improved booking capabilities, enhanced two-way communication and real-time availability.

Kelly Jackson, managing director and senior vice-president of sales for EMEA at TTC Tour Brands, said: “Group travel continues to be one of the biggest growth opportunities for our travel agent partners, so it’s important we make doing business with us as simple and rewarding as possible.”

Group pricing will be locked in at the time of reservation to provide greater certainty for agents and their customers.

For Small Groups bookings, agents can now place holds on bookings of nine to 10 guests, with additional availability accessible on request, while Trafalgar River Cruises has introduced its own enhanced groups proposition featuring stackable offers, group discounts and the new Groups Amenity Points (GAP Points) rewards programme.

Jackson added: “These enhancements are all about removing complexity, giving agents greater flexibility and providing the tools they need to secure bookings with confidence.

“Whether they’re booking a scheduled departure, a completely bespoke itinerary or a river cruise, we’re making it easier than ever for agents to grow their group business while delivering exceptional experiences for their customers.”
