Virat Kohli didn’t travel with the first batch of Indian players to the USA for the T20 World Cup. Kohli, along with Rohit Sharma and other stars, were expected to depart from Mumbai on Saturday, May 25. They were supposed to head to Dubai before departing for the USA.

The reason for Kohli not travelling with Rohit and co is because of the pending paperwork. Kohli is expected to depart to USA by May 30th.

All the players in India’s 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup are currently out of the IPL. None of the Indian players selected for the World Cup are part of KKR or SRH, the finalists.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and others were spotted along with head coach Rahul Dravid and others staff in Mumbai. However, Virat Kohli was absent in this group.

There’s a chance that Kohli may not play the warm-up match against Bangladesh.
