Trip.com Group has partnered with tours and activities booking and distribution platform Rezdy.

Using Rezdy’s API, the partnership will enable activities providers in the Trip.com Group ecosystem to connect and promote their tours to consumers.

Tours providers will also be able to update pricing, availability and content via the API.

The partnership will also provide Trip.com Group with more tours and activities content with the company reporting a triple-digit growth in bookings for tours and tickets in 2023 versus the previous year.

Meanwhile, operators on the Rezdy platform will be able to take advantage of the China-based OTA’s customer base.

Chase Liu, general manager of tours and tickets overseas for Trip.com Group, said: ”Increasingly, tourists are no longer satisfied with mere sightseeing but rather eager to engage in unique, immersive experiences. Enhancing our connectivity with local tour and activity partners with the help of Rezdy offers exciting new ways for travelers to explore their destinations.”

“Advanced reservation technology is revolutionizing the travel industry by automating processes for operators and resellers, fostering growth and efficiency through enhanced connectivity,” said Azra Ljaljic, vice president of distribution at Rezdy.

Trip.com Group also has a partnership with Globick which aims to connect the OTA and its brands directly with tours and activities operators.

Just under a year ago, Rezdy merged with Checkfront with Regiondo joining the pair a little later in a tours and activities booking system rollup backed up Vertica Capital Partners which is said to have invested $150 million to acquire and merge the three companies.
