The T20 World Cup is all set to unfold on 2nd of June and India will play its first game of the tournament on 5th of June against Ireland in New York. All the Indian players are currently playing Indian Premier League and with league stage about to finish now, the focus is shifting towards the world event again.

Now, a report from PTI has also revealed that players from the teams that are eliminated from the playoff race would travel to USA early while rest of the players will join the camp later.

A BCCI source close to PTI has revealed that Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Pant along with Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel will leave for USA on May 25th, contrary to the earlier reports which claimed that the first batch of players will leave on 21st of May.

The fact that India are going to play only one warm-up game before the main tournament starts, BCCI have decided to give some more rest to its players after a gruesome IPL season.

The other players which include the likes of Virat Kohli, Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube are likely to leave for the World Cup after their teams get knocked out, and BCCI would be hoping that everyone if fit and fresh before the warm-up game against Bangladesh on 1st of June.
