Burj Al Arab Jumeirah has appointed luxury travel PR agency Fox Communications to handle its UK PR, media and influencer relations. The agency will work closely with the hotel to mark its 25th anniversary celebrations through comms and brand partnerships.

The account will be led by Fox’s global associate director, Ellie Kay, and account director, Sonam-Shah Mistry.

Kay said: “We are thrilled to be representing the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah – the most iconic hotel in Dubai. Jumeirah is a globally renowned, heritage brand and we are delighted to be representing one of their flagship properties, positioning in the UK market through media relations, influencer engagement and brand partnerships.”

Previously, The Communications Agency held the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah account. PRWeek contacted the agency for comment but had not received a reply at the time of publication.

Fox Communications, launched in 2011 by Lysbeth Fox, offers media relations, events, brand partnerships, VIP and influencer marketing and multi-platform content services.

In July, Meliá Hotels International appointed Fox as its UK PR agency. More recently, the Savoy hired the agency to lead a new integrated communications strategy.
