The Travel Corporation has hired Simon Jones as CEO and appointed Melissa DaSilva deputy CEO of TTC Tour Brands.
DaSilva had been The Travel Corporation’s interim CEO since last September, when Gavin Tollman left the company.
Jones joins the company from Away Resorts, an operator of U.K. holiday parks. TTC said Jones led a turnaround of the business through financial restructuring. He previously worked as the managing director of Premier Inn and Restaurants, where he oversaw 33,000 employees across 1,300 operating units.
DaSilva will oversee all source markets “and play a key leadership role for TTC Tour Brands into the future,” the company said. She and Jones will work closely together, TTC said.
Before she was appointed interim CEO, DaSilva was North America president of TTC Tour Brands.
