According to Condé Nast, Boston made the list of next year’s top travel destinations “for its emergence as a vibrant and dynamic capital where past and future coexist.”
“The city is experiencing a turning point, and the world is starting to see the version of Boston that its residents have always known: not a college town or a business-first destination but a vibrant and dynamic metropolis where past and future coexist,” the publication reads.
In 2026 specifically, Condé Nast recommends visiting the capital city for its various special attractions, including Sail Boston, the 2026 FIFA World Cup and “America’s 250th anniversary,” which “will shine a brighter spotlight on the historic capital.”
The magazine also recommends visiting restaurants like Comfort Kitchen or Row 34, hotels like Atlas Hotel and neighborhoods like Charlestown, Dorchester and East Boston.
