Kilmacolm Farm Tours will run their month-long lambing experience from the April 4 with daily tours showcasing the ‘behind the scenes of quality Scotch lamb production’.

Not only will you learn about general sheep husbandry from farmers James and Wendy and watch lambs getting to their feet for the first time – there is also the chance to experience a live birth.

The business run by the McDougall family started running trailer tours and lambing experiences from Muirhouse Farm in Kilmacolm back in April 2022 and have since been awarded many tourism awards including a four-star rating by the Scottish Tourism Board.

The tours will run every day until April 27 and are open to children aged 5+ with those attending advised to wear welly boots, waterproofs and warm clothing.
