Robinson joins TTC with two decades of travel industry experience across guided vacations, experiential travel and technology. He most recently served as CEO of smarTours, which shuttered last year. He was also the managing director for North America and Oceania at Indie Campers, where he was credited with growing the business across more than 25 markets.

He first started working with the travel advisor sector while at Intrepid Travel.

DaSilva praised Robinson’s diverse experiences across travel and technology, saying his experience makes him an “exceptional addition to our leadership team” and serves as an investment in the trade.

“Joe brings a deep understanding of the advisor landscape, and a proven ability to build strong commercial partnerships across the travel industry,” she said.

Robinson said he was drawn to TTC because of the opportunity the role afforded him to champion travel advisors.

“As the landscape evolves, advisors need more than just great products, they need frictionless tools, real-time data and a partner that fiercely protects their business,” he said.
