The Best of Touring Showcase, hosted by Hays Travel, will take place in Sunderland on Sunday, June 14, and will feature expert guidance and inspiration for travellers interested in guided tours and exploration-focused getaways.
Running from 10am to 3pm at Sheepfolds Stables, the event marks the launch of Hays Travel’s tenth edition of its Best of Touring brochure and is open to the public.
Tricia Birmingham, commercial director at Hays Travel, said: “We are incredibly excited to launch this special showcase in our home city of Sunderland.
“Touring holidays are becoming increasingly popular with travellers of all ages, so we are delighted to bring some of our top suppliers and expert branch colleagues together to share their knowledge and advice.
“Those attending our Best of Touring Showcase can explore the huge range of options we have on offer right up until 2028 and take advantage of our exclusive on-the-day booking incentives.”
The event will cover touring holidays across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and more, with opportunities to speak with industry experts and supplier partners.
Hays Travel staff will be on hand to offer travel advice and help visitors find their ideal break, whether it’s a safari in South Africa, a trip to see the Northern Lights in Lapland, or an elephant encounter in Thailand.
The event is free, and attendees can register their interest in advance through the Hays Travel website, though registration is not required to attend.
