The popular free tours around Ernest and Mabel – the town’s Severn Class Lifeboat will be starting on Tuesday, March 4, at 10.30am and 11.30am and will run until October.
A spokesperson for Weymouth Lifeboat Shop said: “Your very own tour guide will show you what’s involved in being on board our local lifeboat – Ernest and Mabel.
“You can see how our crew get the latest updates and locations when they are called out on a shout and see how those very important engines get them there.
“Once you have done your tour you can visit us at the shop where we have our visitor centre and the opportunity for the children to dress up as future crew and have a photo with the lifeboat in the background.”
