The new store will have an official launch at the end of the month
Co-op Travel has opened a new Kidderminster branch inside Morrisons on Green Street.
The new store, featuring digital screens with latest travel offers, is now open to customers, offering package holidays, cruises, city breaks and long-haul travel, from brands including Jet2holidays, easyJet holidays, P&O Cruises and Marella Cruises, supported by Co-op Travel’s experienced consultants.
Bridget Wilkinson, branch manager at Co-op Travel Kidderminster Morrisons, said: “We’re really excited to have opened our brand-new branch inside Morrisons Kidderminster. Whether customers are looking for a family summer holiday, cruise, city break or once-in-a-lifetime trip, our team is here to help them find the right holiday and make more travel memories.”
A ribbon cutting will take place on Thursday, July 30 from 11am to 12.30pm and locals will be treated to light refreshments, cupcakes and a lucky dip with prizes from the OurCoop family of businesses.
Co-op Travel is part of OurCoop, the UK’s largest independent co-operative Society, and includes more than 70 branches plus online services.
Sara Dunham, chief officer for specialist businesses at OurCoop, said of the new venture: “Travel is an area where many customers value the reassurance of speaking to someone face to face, whether they are comparing destinations, looking at different types of holidays or simply want advice before they book.
“This new store means more people in Kidderminster can access local support from the moment they start planning to the moment they return home.”
Bookings made through Co-op Travel support charity partner Go Beyond, with £1 donated for each booking.
