SCOTLAND fans will travel in their numbers across the Atlantic next summer for their first World Cup in almost three decades.
Tens of thousands headed to France in 1998, which was simpler times with the competition taking place in one country across 10 cities.

Next summer will be a different ball game altogether, though, with three host nations and matches being played right across North America.
But when June comes around, the Tartan Army won’t be catching flights to Canada or Mexico.
Scotland found out last night that all of their group stage matches will be played in the East Coast of the USA.
That’s where they will face two of their France ’98 rivals once again – Brazil and Morocco – along with Haiti.
