Wynne Evans’s BBC travel show, All At Sea, has been pulled off air in a major schedule shake up just weeks after he was axed from the Strictly Live tour.

The GoCompare star, 53, was dropped from the ballroom show’s live tour after he made an “inappropriate” comment towards It Takes Two host Janette Manrara that was picked up on camera.

Despite taking a break from his BBC Radio Wales programme, Wynne’s travel show with the Gavin and Stacey star has remained on the airwaves.

But on Monday (February 17), the evening programme was axed from our screens and replaced with a special edition of EastEnders.

The long-running soap is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary this week and BBC bosses have added a number of extra shows to mark its milestone achievement.

Wynne & Joanna: All At Sea usually airs on Mondays at 8.30pm, but this week it has been moved to Wednesday at the same time and will see them travelling from Carmarthenshire Bay to Tenby in Pembrokeshire.

The evening programme – which he hosts with Joanna Page – sees the pair sailing along the Welsh coastline from Cardiff to St Davids.

Although it has already aired three episodes of it’s total six, Monday’s offering (February 17) has been shunted to make way for an EastEnders documentary fronted by Ross Kemp.

The channel’s flagship soap turns 40 on February 19 and EastEnders: 40 Years on The Square sees Ross meet cast past and present to discuss the show’s legacy.

During the episode the pair visit Laugharne, the former home of poet Dylan Thomas, where Wynne organises a trip to a spa so mum-of-four Joanna can have some “me” time.
