The Westmill Wind Farm and Solar Park, located on the Wiltshire/Oxfordshire border near Swindon, will be giving visitors a guided tour of the place.
For a one-off event on July 12, between 10.30am and 12pm, there will be guides telling the history of the site.
Visitors will also be able to find out about how energy is created, how the site’s five turbines operate, and how the more than 20,000 solar panels create energy.
Guides will explain how both wind and solar power is generated on the one site.
Tickets are just £5, and they must be booked in advance in order to avoid “un-booked visitors being turned away on the day”.
The guided tour is suitable for “those with an interest in community energy”, or those looking to learn about renewable energy.
Tickets can be bought on the Westmill’s events website.
