People have been warned of travel disruption due to incoming severe gales brought by the first named storm of the season.
Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning from 16:00 BST on Friday until 18:00 on Saturday, with gusts of up to 65mph (105km/h) expected as Storm Amy hits the island on Friday.
The island’s ferry firm has brought the morning’s sailings forward and warned of further disruption until Sunday.
Forecaster have also advised people to be aware of possible on-island disruption due to fallen trees, minor structural damage to properties and flooding on roads due to heavy rain.
