The Duchess of Sussex spoke Spanish during a panel in Colombia and said she could feel the country’s “embrace”.

During a discussion with Afro-Colombian women, Meghan spoke about her role as a mother and the work of the Archewell Foundation.

Prince Harry and his wife have been participating in events against discrimination and cyber-harassment in Colombia.

The country’s Vice-President, Francia Marquez, invited the couple after she watched a Netflix series about their lives.

This is not the first time the duchess has been heard speaking Spanish during the trip. Last week she spoke to children while visiting a Bogota school.

Early in her career Meghan worked as an intern at the US embassy in Argentina.
