Travel company TUI will open a branch in the Bournemouth shopping centre on June 14 at 9.30am with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
TUI’s spokeswoman said the “whole team” will be there to welcome new customers to the store, open seven days a week.
She said: “They’ll be having a red ribbon cutting and the TUI kids’ club mascot, Captain T, will be there on the Friday and Saturday to entertain visitors.
“Last week we doubled our summer flying capacity from Bournemouth Airport, so this new store opening is coming at a perfect time.”
Last month, TUI landed its second aircraft at Bournemouth Airport for the first time.
Its new Boeing 737-800 will increase the frequency of flights to Lanzarote, Heraklion, Ibiza, Menorca, Paphos, Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife.
The spokeswoman added: “Customers visiting the store on opening weekend can expect some bubbles, nibbles and the chance to make the most of a special offer on new TUI and Marella holidays.
“The store’s currency bureau will be fully operational and the team of 10 staff will be more than happy to help all customers get ready for their holidays.”
