Educational events in five cities to boost advisors’ Tauck business.
WILTON, CT, USA – Tauck, the US-based purveyor of premium land tours and cruises, will be hitting the road in support of UK travel advisors this fall. The 99-year-old tour operator, which has been steadily raising its visibility in the UK over the past several years, announced it will be holding a series of six “Tauck On Tour” educational seminars in five cities across England this September.
The Tauck On Tour events will be co-presented by Tom Dumbrell, Tauck’s National Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland, along with his US-based colleagues Shauna Sullivan Reilly, Tauck’s Director of Sales and Marketing, and Lora Schapiro, Senior Manager, Trade Marketing and Education. The interactive, in-person events are scheduled for Bristol, London, Sutton Coldfield, Manchester and Harrogate. Each will highlight resources available to help grow advisors’ Tauck business, while also sharing new product details, information on emerging trends, and updates on Tauck’s business. The half-day sessions will be limited to approximately 30 attendees each, and lunch and light refreshments will be served.
“As we increase our presence in the UK and grow our community of advisors, it’s important that we provide them not only with information about our products, but also with the tools they need to sell those products,” said Dumbrell. “Equally important, we need to underscore to advisors how profitable it is for them to sell Tauck. Not only do we pay generous commissions, but we’re a truly all-inclusive brand that commands a premium price. With everything bundled into our premium pricing, we’re a very lucrative partner for our advisors,” said Dumbrell. “And when you couple that with our incredible guest loyalty – over half of our guests each year are returning Tauck travelers – the repeat business our advisors enjoy continues to pay dividends, year-in and year-out.”
The full schedule for the upcoming Tauck On Tour events is:
- 9 September, Bristol, 11:00 – 16:00
- 10 September, London, 9:00 – 14:00 / 12:30 – 17:30
