Kerala is set to witness its inaugural private train journey tailored for tourists eager to explore India’s rich cultural heritage and historical landmarks. Princy World Travel Pvt Ltd, headquartered in Kochi, unveils Kerala’s maiden private train service, promising an immersive travel experience like never before. The first voyage, part of the Bharat Gaurav package, embarks from Thiruvananthapuram to Madgaon.
Dr. Devika Menon, Director of Princy World Travel Pvt Ltd, unveiled the meticulously planned four-day excursions, offering diverse tour packages from Kerala to Goa, Mumbai, and Ayodhya. Collaboration with Chennai-based SRMPR Group has facilitated the curation of these unique travel experiences.
The 750-passenger train boasts two sleeper class coaches, 11 third AC coaches, and 2 second AC coaches, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout the journey. A dedicated team of 60 staff, including medical personnel, is onboard to cater to passengers’ needs.
Ticket holders can embark from various stations including Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod. Children under five can travel free, while those under 10 enjoy a 50% discount. Boarding is strictly limited to ticketed passengers at designated stations.
The tour offers a blend of luxury and exploration, with a two-night stay at premium hotels in Goa and a city tour of Madgaon. From casinos to boat cruises, DJ parties to authentic Goan cuisine, the itinerary promises an unforgettable experience. In addition to the coastal adventure, an eight-day Ayodhya Yatra package beckons travelers, offering a spiritual journey to renowned temples in Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Prayagraj, with the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. The Mumbai trip package is equally enticing. The service which starts from June will have one trip every month.
Services of trained paramedical staff will be ensured in the train. A round-the-clock emergency response team and free travel insurance will also be ensured.
