IRCTC Ayodhya Trip Package: With the inauguration of the grand Ayodhya Temple, the focus is once again on spiritual tourism in India. IRCTC has been announcing several new darshan circuits that will take travel enthusiasts with a yearning for spiritual exploration to various pilgrimage sites in India. And one of them is the IRCTC Ayodhya-Kashi: Punya Kshetra Yatra, that will take you to five religious cities and revered sites on a 10-day tour.
Dates And Itinerary of IRCTC Ayodhya Tour Package
Called the Ayodhya-Kashi: Punya Kshetra Yatra” tour package run by Bharat Gaurav Tourists trains, this IRCTC journey starts on 27th April and ends on 6th May and is 9 nights and 10 days long. You can board from multiple stations: Secunderabad, Kazipet, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Pendurthi and Vizianagaram.
When it comes to pilgrimage sites, you will be visiting many places of religious importance. In Puri, you’ll be taken to Lord Jagannath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in India and a part of the Char Dham yatra. From there, you’ll head to the Konark Sun Temple, a 13th-century Hindu temple dedicated to the Surya. In Gaya, you will visit the Vishnupad Temple, an important pilgrimage site because it is believed to be the place where Lord Vishnu left his footprint.
Varanasi, the epicentre of all spiritual journeys in India, is also on your itinerary. Here, you will visit the new Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Corridor, which has Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in India. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Kashi Vishalakshi and Annapurna Devi Temples are also included in this trip.
After attending the evening Ganga Aarti, you’ll relax and then head out to visit Sarnath, a Buddhist pilgrimage site located near Varanasi. It is the place where the Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. The site is home to a number of Buddhist stupas and monasteries, and is considered to be one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world.
Ayodhya is one of the most important pit stops on this train journey. You’ll be taken for a darshan of Ram Lalla at the newly inaugurated Ram Mandir before heading to Hanumangarhi, a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Last step of the journey is Prayagraj, where Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers will leave you with a renewed spirit.
A brief itinerary of the tour (without the travel time):
Day 1: Arrive in Malatipatpur, transfer to Puri, visit the Lord Jagannath Temple, and stay overnight.
Day 2: Check out from Puri, visit the Konark Sun Temple, and depart for Gaya by train.
Day 3: Arrive in Gaya, visit the Vishnu Pad Temple, and depart for Varanasi by train.
Day 4: Arrive in Varanasi, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Kashi Vishalakshi Temple, Annapurna Devi Temple, and witness the Ganga Aarti ceremony.
Day 5: Free time to visit temples and ghats in Varanasi, afternoon visit Sarnath, and stay overnight.
Day 6: Depart Varanasi by train for Ayodhya, visit Ram Janmabhoomi and Hanumangari, witness the Aarati at Sarayu River (if time permits), and depart for Prayagraj by train.
Day 7: Arrive in Prayagraj, bathe at the Sangam (confluence) of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, and depart for Secunderabad by train.

Exclusions: The tour does not include entry tickets/guide charges at monuments, any extra meals outside of preset menu or additional activities like boating, adventure sports.
