Backroads said it will expand its Women’s Adventures tour line in 2025 to more than 40 itineraries and 125 departures.

The company said the tours, introduced in 2023, were quickly booked to capacity.

“Women of all ages have been a significant part of the growth in active adventure travel, so we expected our Women’s Adventures would be well received, but we are thrilled with the overwhelmingly enthusiastic response,” said Backroads executive vice president Avery Hale Smith.

The new walking and hiking tours range from segments of Spain’s Camino de Santiago to Cambodia/Vietnam, with closer-to-home destinations including  California’s Yosemite Valley and Vermont, which actually launches this month.

The company projects more than a 200% increase in Women’s Adventures guests for 2025.
