Starting its journey in the bustling capital of Delhi, the train travels to Jaipur, the famous Pink City which was founded in 1727, and is known for its stunning pink-coloured buildings and rich cultural heritage. From Jaipur, the journey continues to the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve and Chittorgarh Hill Fort which is a famous UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest fort in India.
Next, the train visits Udaipur, often called the City of Lakes, founded in 1553 by Maharana Udai Singh II, which is known for its picturesque lakes and Rajputana palaces.
Other cities and sites include Jaisalmer Fort that stands amidst the desert of Rajasthan, Jodhpur, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and of course the unmissable Taj Mahal.
