We’ve been treated to two years of epic concerts as the music industry exploded into action after the pandemic but artists aren’t letting up yet; 2025 has some mammoth stadium and arena gigs in store.
Last year was defined by Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour finally reaching the UK, the Co-op Live Arena’s disastrous opening, and, of course, the Oasis reunion announcement.
With Oasis Live ’25 on the horizon and seemingly every band imaginable announcing a return — from The Pogues to the Scissor Sisters — 2025 is going to be one for the ages.
Dua Lipa is already the highest-selling artist for Priority customers with her upcoming Radical Optimism tour, according to O2 Virgin Media.
She was followed closely by Lana Del Rey, who announced her first-ever UK stadium tour earlier this year, and Usher with his 10-show residency at London’s O2 arena.
There’s so much live music happening this year so these are all the biggest UK tours in 2025.
Oasis
It would be impossible to think about all the concerts without the epic Oasis Live ’25 World Tour. After nearly two decades, Noel and Liam Gallagher have buried the hatchet and will perform together once more.
The formerly feuding brothers are set to play 17 shows in the UK, 16 years after their dramatic split put an end to the Britpop era.
After much speculation, The Verve’s Richard Ashcroft and indie rockers Cast were announced as the openers — to a mixed response.
All shows are sold out but fans should keep an eye on official resellers Twickets and Ticketmaster as last-minute tickets might still pop up.
Oasis’ long-awaited reunion is set to be the biggest concert of the year so if you get the chance to go; take it, it might never happen again.
Sabrina Carpenter
The Polly Pocket of pop is set to bring her Short n’ Sweet tour to the UK in March as well as headlining Hyde Park’s BST on July 5.
Sabrina Carpenter, 25, had a huge 2024, claiming three UK number ones with Espresso, Taste, and Please, Please, Please.
Her tour has already wowed in the US, with her cheeky outfit reveals and Juno dance positions frequently going viral.
The eight UK tour dates are already largely sold out — hardly surprising given how her performance at Capital’s Summertime Ball 2024 went down a treat.
If you missed out on tickets to the Short n’ Sweet tour, Hyde Park tickets are still on sale so snap these up while you still can.
Scissor Sisters
The Scissor Sisters revealed in October that they will finally be going back on tour in May, over 12 years after their last live show.
They’ve announced 10 arena shows for 2025, with gigs in the likes of Manchester, London, and Birmingham.
Sadly co-vocalist Ana Matronic won’t be joining her bandmates Jake Shears, Babydaddy, and Del Marquis for the comeback.
The trio told Metro they were ‘so proud’ of Ana for doing what was right for her, with Jake adding: ‘Her spirit is gonna be with us. Nothing stays the same.’
Fans can purchase tickets through official sites such as Ticketmaster or AXS and the Scissor Sisters’ website.
Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra
The iconic 70s group Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra will tour one last time after the death of bandmate Richard Tandy last year.
The nearly sold-out tour will see the Mr Blue Sky legends play just three dates, including a headlining BST Hyde Park which was announced in October.
Jeff, 76, said of the farewell BST gig: ‘My return to touring began at Hyde Park in 2014. It seems like the perfect place to do our final show.
‘We couldn’t be more excited to share this special night in London with our UK fans. As the song goes, ” We’re gonna do it One More Time”.’
Roy Wood, 78, and Bev Bevan, 80, are not thought to be joining Jeff for these final shows, having left the band in 1986.
Coldplay
Coldplay’s mammoth Music of the Spheres Tour will return to the UK in 2025 with a string of gigs in Hull’s Craven Park Stadium and London’s Wembley Arena.
Chris Martin and the band have been touring the world for two years, having kicked off in America in March 2022.
They already brought the show to the UK once but will return on August 18 and 19 for the two gigs in Hull.
The Yellow hitmakers will then perform in London’s Wembley Stadium on August 22, 23, 26, 27, 30, and 31, and then on September 3, 4, 7, and 8.
After a bumpy presale launch, tickets quickly sold out but there are still some VIP packages up for grabs.
If you missed out on this, you can see Coldplay’s A Film For The Future, a 360-degree immersive album experience, in Manchester and London.
Dua Lipa
Glastonbury headliner, highest-selling artist for O2 Priority customers, and now a possible engagement — Dua Lipa had quite an impressive 2024.
She’s already kicked off 2025 with multiple Brit Award nods and her Radical Optimism tour will reach the UK in June after an 11-show leg around Asia, a trip to Australia, and European dates.
Last June, 100,000 people packed into the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury to watch the star perform a run of 15 songs, including hits Training Season, One Kiss, Illusion, Break My Heart and Levitating.
The Houdini hitmaker, 29, will play Wembley Stadium on June 20 and 21 before heading to Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium on June 24 and 25.
While Wembley is almost sold out, there are plenty of tickets still available for Liverpool on Ticketmaster which retail for around £100.
The Darkness
In September, 00s icons The Darkness announced a new album – Dreams On Toast — and a UK tour were on the horizon.
They’re set to play 17 dates, kicking off at Ipswich Regent Theatre on March 7 and wrapping up at London’s OVO Arena, Wembley on March 29.
Northern Irish rockstars Ash will be joining Justin Hawkins and the band on this month-long tour, for the first time since 2004.
After the tour, the I Believe In A Thing Called Love legends will also be playing Download Festival in Donington Park on July 11.
Busted vs McFly
A reunion tour with a twist, McFly will team up with — or rather go up against – 00s rivals Busted in a battle of the bands style show.
When the Star Girl icons were performing in London in October, they gave their fans a little surprise and brought out some very special guests on stage.
James Bourne, 41, Charlie Simpson, 39, and Matt Willis, 41, also known as Busted, waltzed on stage and announced that they were reuniting with their fellow band members and past collaborators for the first time in almost a decade.
‘Right now here tonight, we challenge you to the ultimate face off, next year, 2025 Busted Vs McFly the tour. The Challenge is yours if you choose to accept it,’ Busted announced.
McFly, consisting of Tom Fletcher, 39, Danny Jones, 38, Harry Judd, 38, and Dougie Poynter, 36, toured as McBusted in 2014 but this is the first time all seven bandmembers will be on stage together since the 00s.
Linkin Park
Linkin Park shocked fans when they announced a huge comeback, seven years after the death of beloved frontman Chester Bennington.
Emily Armstrong has now joined as co-lead vocalist with founding member Mike Shinoda, as well as returning bandmates Joe Hahn and Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell.
After one London date in a very brief world tour in 2024, Linkin Park confirmed more concerts for their From Zero Tour this year.
However, despite planning gigs across the world; there’s still only one UK date at Wembley on June 28.
If you’re willing to travel a bit, there are also shows in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, and Belgium.
Guns n’ Roses
80s rockers Guns N’ Roses will be touring across 24 stadiums around the UK and Europe this year.
However, this tour has a huge catch as despite the many gigs across the continent there are only two UK shows.
The band — consisting of Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan, as well as Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese — will only play Birmingham and London.
Tickets are still available so fans can get tickets to Birmingham’s Villa Park gig on Monday, June 23 or London’s Wembley Stadium on Thursday, June 26.
The best place to purchase is through the official Guns N’ Roses website or Ticketmaster.
Jamiroquai
In a shock announcement last year, 90s icons Jamiroquai revealed they would be touring once more after six years away.
In 2017 they released Automaton, with a tour following the album, however, since then it’s been fairly quiet on the Jamiroquai front.
The Heels of Steel UK Tour kicks off in Barcelona on November 6, 2025, and will wrap up in Birmingham on December 12.
With almost a year to go before the four UK gigs, tickets are still up for grabs for this reunion of this iconic 90s group.
Billie Eilish
The pop girlies have dominated in 2024 and now we will see Birds of a Feather hitmaker Billie Eilish arrive in the UK for her highly anticipated tour.
She graced the Glastonbury stage in 2022, becoming the youngest ever headliner on the Pyramid Stage and her fame has only grown since then.
The 22-year-old star has already stunned on the US leg of her tour, including performing her Barbie tune What Was I Made For while sitting cross-legged on the edge of the stage.
The Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour will reach Glasgow on July 7 with two shows before Billie heads down for a six-show stretch in London’s O2.
After this, the Happier Than Ever singer will play four gigs starting on July 19 at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena — which had a rocky opening earlier this year.
Most of her gigs already have low or limited availability so fans might want to look out for any resale tickets through official sites in early summer.
Kaiser Chiefs
Kaiser Chiefs have announced a string of huge gigs to celebrate 20 years since their debut album Employment.
Their first LP debuted at number 3 in 2005, containing hits like Oh My God and I Predict A Riot, with the band winning multiple Brit Awards at the time.
After two decades, Kaiser Chiefs announced a homecoming gig at Leeds’ Temple Newsam Park — a venue they haven’t played in 23 years.
Led by frontman Ricky Wilson, the 00s icons will begin their huge tour in Port Talbot on May 23 at In It Together festival in Margam, Wales.
They have plenty of outdoor venues booked, calling at London’s Alexandra Palace Park, Brighton Beach and Edinburgh Castle.
As well as headlining gigs they will make stops at festivals like Bristol Sounds, Kendal Calling in the Lake District, and Cornwall’s Boardmasters.
Usher
Okay, so not quite a tour but Usher is set to perform an eight-show residency at London’s O2 Arena in April, with two extra dates in May.
The Past Present Future shows follow on from his successful Paris residency, which has since been immortalised in film.
He also teased the possibility of a Glastonbury appearance to Metro last year, saying: ‘It could be cool, right?! Better yet, maybe I could bring Lovers and Friends over there? That could be major too, right?’
Tickets are largely sold out but there are still some seats available for his May gigs, in the words of the Yeah hitmaker: ‘Don’t wait till the last minute.’
Stereophonics
In October, another iconic 00s band announced seven stadium gigs as well as a headlining show at the Isle of Wight Festival.
Stereophonics, fronted by Kelly Jones, will play Belfast’s Belsonic Festival on Thursday, June 5, after a huge tour around the US and Europe.
They’re playing some of Ireland’s biggest venues such as St Anne’s Park in Dublin and then Cork’s Virgin Media Park.
Gigs at Huddersfield’s John Smith’s Stadium, Glasgow Bellahouston Park, and London’s Finsbury Park follow. They then wrap up with two shows at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
Tickets can be purchased through the Stereophonics’ website with standing starting from £70 and seated for £50 and up.
Alanis Morrisette
Alanis Morissette, 50, has announced her UK and Europe tour for 2025, with dates across March, June, and July.
The Ironic hitmaker revealed her tour on Instagram, specifying these were ‘non-headlining’ dates and promised more dates were coming soon.
She wrote: ‘Super excited to share that I’m heading to South America this coming spring and Europe next summer to play a handful of shows and festivals 🎤🌍absolutely cannot wait to connect with all of you ✨✨’
Alanis has gigs booked in cities like Cardiff, Glasgow, Amsterdam, and Barcelona but there is a huge gap in her tour schedule, right across Glastonbury weekend.
Currently, the star has not announced any dates in England, despite visiting Scotland and Wales on the tour, so keep an eye on this one.
Robbie Williams
The man of the moment, thanks to his Better Man biopic landing in cinemas and scoring Oscar recognition, is Robbie Williams.
While Americans might be arguing over whether he’s famous or not, British fans can still get tickets to his live shows in 2025.
He’s heading out on tour — skipping the US — with stops around Europe and the UK from May until October.
Robbie kicks off his UK leg in Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on May 31, with stops in Newcastle, Bath, Manchester, and London.
Tickets are on sale to see the Angels icon, with opening acts Rag’n’Bone Man and The Lottery Winners, through his official website.
Sting
Sting is playing a whopping six festivals next year on a UK tour, headlining Latitude Festival before more intimate gigs at Eventim Apollo and O2 Forum Kentish Town.
The Sting 3.0 World Tour will head to London in October 2025 with two shows that promise to give a much deeper cut performance, digging into ‘rarities’ in his extensive discography.
The tiny O2 Forum will host the Desert Rose singer on October 24, with a maximum capacity of just 2,300.
Songs like Englishman in New York and Roxanne will of course be on the set list but the rock star has been mixing things up recently.
While on tour in Ontario, Canada, Sting performed I Burn For You live for the first time in 34 years – so expect more unexpected tracks.
The Boomtown Rats
Close to the end of last year, Sir Bob Geldof surprised everyone as he announced a massive tour with his band, The Boomtown Rats.
Fifty years since their debut, the band will take on an anniversary tour, Happy Birthday Boomtown: Celebrating 50 Rat Years 1975 – 2025.
They are set to play 12 venues across the UK with stops in the likes of Nottingham, Birmingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, Manchester, and Liverpool.
There’s also a very special gig in London’s Apollo on October 31, which is the anniversary of their first ever live performance five decades ago.
Boomtown Rats’ website called it a ‘celebration of their musical legacy’, with tickets retailing for over £50.
The Pogues
Another surprise tour, The Pogues will be going around the UK for their 40th anniversary — their first tour in 10 years.
This will be the first time in decades they’re touring without frontman Shane MacGowan after his death last Christmas.
The Rum Sodomy and the Lash Tour visit Leeds, Birmingham, London, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle in May 2025.
‘You can’t keep us away,’ joked James Fearnley to Metro earlier this year. ‘We just want to make noise because we love performing.’
Franz Ferdinand
00s legends Franz Ferdinand have announced multiple festivals for 2025 along with their UK and Europe tour for their brand new album The Human Fear.
While the album came out on January 10, the tour kicks off in the UK on March 5 with two shows in London’s Shepherd’s Bush O2 Empire.
They are also playing a homecoming gig at Glasgow’s Barrowlands on March 7, two decades after forming.
‘For me, that’s the big payoff for making an album,’ bassist Bob Hardy told Metro. ‘It’s the records you’ve sat and listened to in your headphones and then you go and see the artist; that’s where the real magic takes place.’
Frontman Alex Kapranos just enjoys ‘watching the crowd go mental’ when they bring out their huge hits — which he promises will be featured on the setlist.
Lana Del Rey
Lana Del Rey is returning to the UK after her unforgettable Glastonbury performance in 2023 for a handful of stadium dates.
She was ‘ruled out’ of headlining Worthy Farm this year after infamously having her sound was cut off after she arrived 30 minutes late to the Other Stage.
Lana is in the UK over the festival weekend but will be visiting London, Glasgow, Cardiff, Liverpool, and Dublin with little room for a Somerset stop.
Her UK and Ireland leg of The Right Person Will Stay tour caused a little controversy as fans complained ticket prices were once again high, costing between £78.40 and £420.
Despite complaints, Lana’s tour is mainly sold out with low availability across all six dates on Ticketmaster.
