Newly-appointed World Travel Holdings UK managing director Lisa McAuley is joining the speaker line-up at next month’s Abta Travel Convention.
The incoming head of brands Cruise 118, Six Star Cruises and rivervoages.com is to participate in the final panel session at the convention.
She will be joined on the panel by Dawson & Sanderson commercial director Judith Alderson, Barrhead Travel managing director Nicki Tempest-Mitchell and Not Just Travel co-founder Steve Witt at the event in Calvia, Majorca on October 6-8.
They will share insights into what gives them renewed positivity for the future of travel.
McAuley, who takes up her new position at World Travel Holdings on October 1, was previously group strategy director at Hays Travel, managing director of B2B tour operations at dnata and UK and Ireland managing director of Silversea Cruises.
TV chef and Gold Radio host Simon Rimmer will also speak at the Convention about how to win the hearts and minds of the next generation of travellers, by selling the feeling of belonging as well as the destination.
