Ever wondered which destination is the ‘best place in the world’? Well how about asking the man who was visited them all.

According to statistics shared by travel trade organisation Abta, the average Brit goes on 3.94 holidays each year. At that speed it would take you around five decades to visit every corner of the globe.

Factor in the years wasted in childhood as well as expectancy and most of us are cutting it fine.

Or you could just do what 33-year-old blogger Drew Binsky did, which is to sack off all of your responsibilities and dedicate over a decade to visiting all 197 countries in the world. These are 193 UN Member states plus the non-member states of Taiwan, Kosovo, Vatican City and Palestine.

Which is an accomplishment that most of us can only dream of.

Binsky’s travels have unsurprisingly attracted a large following over the years, as curious onlookers flock to his content in order to get an idea of what life 1,000 miles away from them.

So for a man who’s seen everywhere on the map, what’s the best place to go ahead and book for your next holiday?

The US-based vlogger recently sat down to discuss his experiences in a recent interview with UNILAD and revealed there’s one particular country which he believes has ‘everything’ you could want in a travel destination.

Revealing that this honour goes to none other than The Philippines, the 33-year-old said: “I would say the Philippines. I think it’s the most beautiful country in the world, super safe and full of nice people.

“It’s like everything you could want in one country.”

Nestled in Southeast Asia, The Philippines archipelago of islands which includes breathtaking beaches, the megacity capital of Manila and beautiful nature.

Granted, it’s a little further than a weekend city break in a neighbouring country, but if The Philippines have been endorsed by the man whose seen everywhere in the world, then it’s definitely one for the bucket list.

As for the place he’d pick to settle down in longterm? That honour goes to Dubai. Which isn’t the most exciting choice but come on – the man’s already seen it all.

Unfortunately not all of Binsky’s travel experiences have been ideal, with the blogger revealing that Venezuela was a little difficult to visit as a US citizen.

“I ended up getting the visa from the Venezuelan embassy but they were difficult because of the sanctions and political tensions between the US and Venezuela, but I was able to get one last minute,” he recalled.
