Friday night adults-only Zoo Nights tours are running in June and July for ‘naughty nature’ tours to see survival and seduction in the animal kingdom — or toast the end of the week with Champagne overlooking the penguin colony.

Creature lovers have the zoo’s 8,500 animals to themselves as the sun sets, when the zoo comes alive with activity after the daytime crowds have gone.

The more adventurous night-timers can also upgrade for a ‘sleepover’ in one of the lodges nestled among the flamingos, within roaring distance of the lions and close to Sumatra tigers or the towering giraffes.

Every ‘Zoo Nights’ ticket sold helps support the global work of ZSL, the conservation charity behind London Zoo, with work around the world to conserve animal species.
