Travelling the world is something many people dream about, there are so many incredible destinations located across the four corners of the Earth, some of which often go amiss. While exploring a significant part of the globe is not something that a great deal of people are fortunate enough to do, there are numbers of people who have, often sharing their experiences in those hidden gems online. Harry Jaggard is one of those people, sharing his experiences with the 2.31 million people subscribed to his YouTube channel @harryjaggardtravel.
The British travel vlogger who describes himself as a “professional idiot completing side missions” has been all around the world boasting unique adventures and experiencing new cultures and so when it comes to travelling, Harry can provide a significant insight which he has done in a YouTube short where he recommends the top three countries that everyone should visit in their lives.
When posed the question of the world’s top must-visit locations, the travel vlogger kicked off with Japan as the third destination. “Japan has this completely unique culture. The food, the sights, the people, everything is so unique.
“It’s a place where you’ll get the biggest culture shock in a good way and the way that they have the attention to detail. The food is just unbelievable and I don’t think I’ve heard anyone who said they haven’t had a good time in Japan,” Harry says.
Next up on his list was Lebanon, which he noted as not being a “very visited country,” saw 1.73 million visitors in 2023, yet the travel expert praised it for several things.
“It’s got incredible food, the nightlife is insane, the people are so hospitable, so I do think it’s got incredible potential for the future,” he adds.
Taking the lead spot in countries that everyone should visit in their lifetime is the beautiful land of Vietnam, located in Southeast Asia. Harry dubbed the destination “Asia’s starter pack,” emphasising that “you can’t go wrong” with a Vietnam holiday because of how fun it is.
He says: “The nature here is some of the best nature in the world, the rice fields in the North of Vietnam, just going on a road trip. The number one thing I’d say is just take a road trip from the north all the way up to the south and you’ll have an abundance of experiences.”
