Hollyoaks viewers can rejoice, as the Channel 4 soap has opened up its doors and allowed fans to visit the set for the very first time – here’s everything you need to know including ticket details!

The long-running soap is celebrating its 30th anniversary this month in a variety of different ways, with the return of spin-off series Hollyoaks Later and a planned crossover with Brookside among the exciting events.

In a new announcement, it has been confirmed that fans will be able take a look behind the scenes with an exclusive set tour courtesy of production company Lime Pictures, with each viewer getting an inside look at “how the magic is made”.

Taking place over the weekend of 25 and 26 October, the tour will reportedly offer a “unique opportunity for both dedicated fans and those interested in television production to explore the show’s famous sets”, with each group being led by an “expert guide”.

The tour will take place at Lime Pictures studios in Liverpool, with each slot set to run for approximately 75 minutes. Tickets are available to purchase here, though you will have to hurry as demand is expected to be high.

The set tour isn’t the only event to be created as part of the soap’s 30th anniversary, with Kieron Richardson confirmed as the host for a brand-new podcast series, Hollyoaks Unwrapped.

“As a huge fan of the show it’s an honour to spend even more time talking about Hollyoaks alongside my friends who also live and breathe this show,” said Richardson, who plays Ste Hay on the soap.

“We can’t wait to show the audience a sneak peek behind the lens and as much gossip and show spoilers as possible,” continued the actor, who has been on the beloved series since 2006.

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
