Whether you have White Lotus fever or you’re just burned out and in-need of a serene place to have body treatments without family and relationship drama or looming murder, The Greenwich Hotel’s Shibui Spa offers all the peace and serenity one could dream of. And it doesn’t require three flights or jet lag like the show’s beloved-but-troubled Ratliffe family. Enjoy all of the Tribeca neighborhood spa’s traditional treatments, and although the ultra luxurious Shibui Spa is rooted in Japanese culture — not Thai — you can surely say all the “sawadee ka” that your heart desires.

Massage

The show’s favorite spa director Belinda is back from Season 1 in Maui, and now on a foreign wellness exchange program at the hotel chain’s outpost in Thailand. In episode 2, the White Lotus spa director Pornchai performs the local resort’s signature “Warrior Massage” for Belinda. The Shibui Spa’s Signature Massage is called Omakase. Like the popular sushi option, the treatment is bespoke and custom to your needs depending on what the practitioner decides. It can include cupping, dry brushing, hot stones, and other ancient bodywork modalities used to treat pain, stress, and energy blocks. In either 90 or 120 minute options, the Omakase is a must experience.

Scrub

The earnest, Manchester-born, self-proclaimed romantic Chelsea thinks she’s on vacation with her older boyfriend Rick, who is actually on a secret plot for bloody revenge unbeknownst to sweet, naive Chelsea. She opts-in for a body scrub while playing armchair Enneagram expert, telling her practitioner she’s probably a 2 because, “Most healers are”. The Shibui Spa’s full-body Kinmoxei Organic Scrub incorporates Japanese lime oil to tighten and firm the skin, leaving it softened, clean, and hydrated like you’ve been basking in a beautiful and humid climate.

Soak

Fan-favorite high school senior and magician-by-hobby Lochlan does a sensory deprivation float for one of his special treatments. While some fan theories suggest he goes into this float meditative posture to play possum as we see and hear gunshots in the first scene of the first episode, we won’t know if his float tank training comes in handy until the season finale (April 6th).

The Shibui Spa does not have a sensory deprivation experience, but they offer a variety of Japanese Onsen Bathing Rituals that experts would agree are far more relaxing and luxurious than a float tank.

Dubbed by locals as one of the most relaxing experiences in New York City — Shibui Spa is very, “if you know, you know”. And without laced cigarettes or venomous snake bites. What to embody the full White Lotus experience? Throw on your Tombolo outfit designed for the show before you head to the spa. Khop khun ka.
