Safety is always top of mind for travelers, but not all destinations put a premium on security. Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection just released its annual report ranking the world’s safest places to travel in 2026. Respondents rated their experiences across a range of categories, including crime, health and transportation. For the second year in a row, Reykjavik—the capital of Iceland—took the top spot, with Copenhagen and Zurich rounding out the top three.
