Pangea, a travel technology platform aimed at digital nomads, announced its first acquisition Monday with the purchase of Overlap, a social app that lets frequent travelers see when and where their paths cross. Terms weren’t disclosed.
The move represents what Pangea called the “first step” in a multi-year plan to consolidate the fragmented travel technology sector under one artificial intelligence-driven platform.
