This is still a week out so details are not set in stone, but the forecast has been consistently active for the weekend and cold… there is a decent chance of snow accumulation and travel concerns as a result.

Snow, and rain to snow, will come in several waves and could begin as soon as Friday night!

With highs above freezing on Saturday we will likely see a shift back to rain during the day before changing back to snow Saturday night…

Snow chances continue Sunday and could linger into Monday as well. Temperatures are trending colder which means less rain potential and more of a chance for all, or mostly snow. We’ll keep an eye on this trend!

Forecast models point to at least 1″ for the Metro, some are much higher! Due to the inconsistencies in each new round of data and the lack of agreement between forecast models we don’t have a clear picture of exactly how much to expect at this point but we will get a better idea as we get closer to the Thanksgiving holiday and the weekend. Keep an eye on the forecast if you have travel planned!
