Mr Hart said: “We recognise the importance of this day for so many islanders, and we hope that by offering this small gesture, we can help bring people together to honour those who have served and those who continue to serve.
“It’s a privilege for us to play a part in helping veterans, their families, and the community mark this occasion with the respect it deserves.”
Lt Col Tim Daniels, chairman of the Royal British Legion Jersey Branch, said the gesture ensured “everyone in the community can participate in this important day of remembrance”.
He added: “It means a great deal to veterans and reflects the regard of the community for their service.”
