Technology solutions provider Inspiretec has been acquired by travel tech investment firm Juniper Group for an undisclosed sum.
The deal will see Cardiff-based Inspiretec further enhance its platform which is used by multiple travel industry companies.
The firm has more than 25 years of experience delivering software solutions for tour operators and travel agencies. Customers include Abercrombie & Kent, Gold Medal and If Only.
Company founder and chief executive Simon Powell, who started his career working in the family travel agency business, said: “Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the Inspiretec story.

Inspiretec’s platform allows customers to simplify operations and boost revenues by managing content, customer data and sales processes. Additional add-on modules, include a self-service portal, quotation tools, and a white-label website platform
Inspiretec will enhance its connectivity capabilities and product offering through existing functionalities that have been developed by other Juniper Group’s traveltech peers, according to the company.
