Trafalgar has confirmed plans to add a third river cruise ship to its offering in 2027.

The escorted land tours specialist, which is part of TTC Tour Brands, opened sales in May this year for its first itineraries on two ships, Trafalgar Reverie and Trafalgar Verity, along the Rhine and Danube, sailing from spring 2026.

Speaking at this year’s Abta Travel Convention, TTC Tour Brands managing director Kelly Jackson, said this was “just the start” for its river cruise offering.

She said: “With Trafalgar, we have such a loyal fan base and they want to keep travelling with us, so we’ve needed to introduce other ways of travel.

“We’ve recently launched river cruising with Trafalgar, and we want to be as seamless cruising the streets of the Alps as we are on the rivers.

“We’ve got two river ships about to launch for 2026, and we are about to launch a third for 2027, so this is just the start.

“We want to go multimodal, so have various different types of experiences we’ll see further down the tracks.”

Trafalgar has also joined Clia UK and Ireland as a river cruise operator member in advance of its first sailings in 2026.
