Travel Norfolk, Travel Electric – a free event hosted by Norfolk County Council – is being held at the Forum on Friday, July 18.
The event has been organised in partnership with Let’s Experience Electric and offers businesses and members of the public the opportunity to explore the latest in EV technology and sustainability.
People can get behind the wheel of a range of EV cars and take electric bicycles for a spin, as well as hear presentations from leading experts within the industry.
It comes as County Hall completes its latest round of EV charger installations in Norwich.
Working with Blink, the council has installed 47 EV charging points in the city, with a fifth and final phase due to start in the summer.
Norfolk has also recently been awarded almost £6.5m from the government’s Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) fund – government money that supports local authorities in England to plan and deliver charging infrastructure for residents without off-street parking.
