TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The online travel platform Tripadvisor has listed Bali as one of the chosen destinations in its Traveler’s Choice Awards Best of the Best 2025. The Island of the Gods is ranked second after London, based on the website’s community reviews, surpassing popular cities like UAE’s Dubai and Paris in France.
Tripadvisor describes Bali as a “living postcard,” with stretches of fine white sand. The Indonesian paradise allows travelers to dive among coral ridges and commune with tropical creatures.
On shore, the island boasts ancient temples and lush green forests. As one of the top cultural destinations, travelers can visit Bali’s art capital, Ubud, to bask in well-preserved culture or rejuvenate the body and mind in yoga classes.
London crowned ‘Best of the Best’ destination
London is chosen as the best destination for 2025. The city is considered a blend of many worlds, from the trendy Shoreditch style to the punk vibes of Camden and the chic Portobello Road. Travelers can visit royal and historic sites and iconic landmarks, dine and drink at exclusive Michelin-starred restaurants, enjoy a pint at traditional pubs, or stroll through winding cobbled streets.
Following Bali and London, the next best destinations are Dubai, Sicily in Italy, Paris, Rome in Italy, Hanoi in Vietnam, and Marrakech in Morocco. Crete and Bangkok are next, which rounds up the top 10 out of 25 listed destinations.
London, Bali, and 23 other destinations top the list because they have everything that travelers seek. The Best of the Best title from the Travelers’ Choice Awards celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel. This title is awarded to those who receive a high volume of outstanding reviews and opinions from the TripAdvisor community over a 12-month period. Out of 8 million listings, less than 1 percent achieved this historic milestone.
