The Met Office has just announced new weather warnings for tomorrow and Monday.
Sunday
A yellow wind warning has been issued for parts of North West England, South West England, Northern Ireland, Wales and south west Scotland, running from 8am tomorrow until 3pm.
New warnings are also in place in Northern Ireland and Scotland for wind, snow and ice.
A yellow warning for heavy rain which may lead to local flooding will be in place from 8am tomorrow until 6am on Monday.
The warning was issued on Thursday and covers the East Midlands, West Midlands, North West England, South West England, East of England, London, South East England and Wales.
Monday
A yellow weather warning for “strong and gusty” winds cover South West England and Wales, as well as the East of England, South East England and London. This is in place from 6am on Monday until 6am on Tuesday.
There’s also a yellow warning for “heavy rain” covering Wales and the West Midlands in pace from 6am on Monday until midnight.
Ireland
New warnings have also been issued by Met Eireann for Ireland.
There are yellow warnings for “strong and gusty winds” in nine counties tomorrow, with Cork, Kerry and Waterford also covered by yellow wind warnings until 6am on Monday.
There are yellow warnings for “heavy downpours” in place in Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford from 5am tomorrow until 5pm.
