Birmingham Airport has appointed Kate Ritchie as its new Travel Trade Executive.

Kate’s role will involve keeping agents up to date on the latest developments at the airport, and delivering trade marketing campaigns, events and sales missions on behalf of airline partners.

It’s the first time Birmingham Airport has had a Travel Trade Executive since COVID.

Kate, who has a background in marketing, PR and events, previously worked at the airport as Marketing Assistant in 2016-17.

Kate said: “It’s great to join the Aviation Development team at Birmingham Airport as Travel Trade Executive. I’m really looking forward to building relationships with airlines and the region’s travel trade and corporate community, providing knowledge and updates on all things BHX.”
